Clarence Golden III, also known as Trey, is a violist studying at the University of Memphis. He is a Masters student working towards a master’s degree in music performance. While at the University of Memphis Clarence performs in the university’s orchestra and takes lessons with professor Lenny Schranze. He also spends time learning valuable skills in other courses such as music history and theory.
As a student Clarence values understanding the material and using it to further improve other aspects of his playing and life Outside of the university setting Clarence performs at gatherings hosted by his family or local churches. He frequently visits Chicago to spend time with his extended family and share his love and talent for music with them.
